great nearby beaches with access to fun attractions
We really loved being just a few steps from the peaceful Lover's Key Beach, perfect for relaxing walks along the shore after checking out local shops and enjoying fresh seafood every night, making it an ideal spot for our beach getaway. i recommend this friendly property especially for travelers who appreciate modern rooms with kitchens and easy beach access, but the housekeeping definitely needs some attention.

Amazing sunsets right at my doorstep! The beachfront location was perfect—just steps away from the sand. Staff were super helpful, but the shower could use a little update. Overall, a fantastic stay!

The beach here was stunning, with soft, white sand that my nephew couldn’t get enough of. We enjoyed the welcoming barbecue facilities and fun shuffleboard games, making it a perfect spot for family bonding. A short trip to the Sanibel Outlets made it even better!
My children wished for more fun activities dedicated to kids.

The Perfect Coastal Retreat!
We enjoyed a splendid stay with a spacious kitchenette and friendly staff. The relaxed atmosphere was enhanced by the fantastic pool area. Don't miss the dog-friendly beach, where our furry friend made new pals. I recommend the nearby restaurant for delicious seafood!

Some aspects of the room show signs of wear and tear—minor repairs needed on furniture and fixtures were noticeable, but they didn't detract from our overall enjoyment. The location is somewhat isolated, making dining options off-site limited without a drive, which could be bothersome if you prefer to walk for meals.

Just a reliable pick for a brief pause in Fort Myers Beach with good value for price. The rooms were surprisingly updated, and we loved having a kitchen to prepare some meals. Be cautious with driving around town due to road work.

Sunset views that steal the show
Our family loved waking up to stunning sunsets each evening. The pool area was a hit with the kids, and having kitchen facilities made meal prep a breeze!
While the staff was inviting, we did notice that housekeeping could use a little more attention in some areas, which was a minor letdown.

The beach access was fantastic, and my kids loved collecting shells and exploring tide pools. The friendly staff made check-in seamless, but the lighting in the parking area was quite poor.

The room was pretty comfy overall, just a bit dated. The kitchenette was useful, and the bathroom had great water pressure. Beds were a little hard for my taste, but they had extra soft blankets. The towels were actually really nice, which was a nice surprise. Just be aware, if you're bringing a pet, it can complicate things with housekeeping. They seemed hesitant with our dog, even when she was kenneled. Crumbs in the sofa sleeper from who knows when wasn't ideal either.

Staying at the Carousel Inn was a delightful experience. The room had a lovely gulf view and a full kitchen that made our stay convenient. The beach right outside was wide and uncrowded, perfect for morning walks and evening swims. I loved the atmosphere at Outriggers next door with its live music and tasty food. The General Manager, Alex, was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. Our room was clean, and the Wi-Fi worked well, which kept us connected. However, the mattress was a bit too firm for my liking. We also had a small hiccup in the morning when we discovered there was no coffee provided, despite having a coffee maker. A little frustrating, but it didn't ruin our overall experience. The location is a gem, away from the hustle of Times Square but still easy to get there. I'd definitely consider returning!
